In such a special year for ALCINE, the Alcalá de Henares Philately and Collecting Association wanted to take part in the celebration of ALCINE’s fiftieth anniversary with a very special exhibition. At the behest of this association, the Town Hall of Alcalá de Henares requested that the Spanish Postal Service issue an official stamp, which was approved and belongs to the “Spanish Cinema” series. Its issue date is the 28th of October 2021.
Upon issue of the stamp, the association decided to set up a territorial philately exhibition: XXIX EXFILAL FILACENTRO 2021 “50th Anniversary of the Alcalá de Henares Film Festival– ALCINE-”, under the auspices of the Town Hall of Alcalá, CORREOS (SEPI), FESOFI and FECESFI. In addition to the exhibition, a complete catalogue has been produced, which provides an exhaustive description of the “Spanish Cinema” series of the Spanish postal service together with other stamps related to film.
An exhibit set up for the enjoyment of collectors and film buffs, who will have the opportunity to view dozens of singular and rare pieces.
