The women of a small town in process of depopulation live between the apathy of their daily day where nothing extraordinary happens and a deep desire for liberating experiences that makes them rediscover the place where they believe they were happy or dreamed of being happy.
Ainhoa is a film director, producer and scriptwriter. She holds a PhD in Film Theory and Analysis from the Complutense University of Madrid with the doctoral thesis "The concept of reality in Fellini's cinema"; she has a DEA in the area of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising. She also holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication (UCM) and a diploma in Film Directing and TV Production (TAI). She has just won the award for Best Director at the Vilnius International Film Festival|Kino Pavasaris for "Destello Bravío" (2021), which is part of the 50th Anniversary New Directors New Films selection organised by MoMA and Film at Lincoln Center. Variety magazine has featured her as one of the top ten emerging filmmakers. Her short films have won numerous awards around the world. She combines her work as a director with teaching and lecturing on audiovisual language in public and private institutions for several years, an activity she is passionate about and with which she has acquired a great deal of experience.
