Carmela, a 12-year-old girl, on the day of her birthday is obliged to meet her father at a family meeting center due to the gender-violence sentence her mother has against him.
Julia was born in Sant Cugat (Barcelona) in 1995. She began studying film at the age of 18 and in the second year she specialized in cinematographic direction, where she found her main motivation: coaching actors. 'Ama' is a short film presented as a final Project of the ESCAC University, which she later turned into a feature film.
