Tom and Ellis, 15 years old, have been friends forever. They spend their summer fishing at sea. One day, they meet Lucie who came to their village on holiday. As days go by, they grow more intimate.
Holder of a master’s degree in Film Studies from Université Paris 8, from which he graduated in 2012, Maxime Hermet directed 'The Beauty and the Vertigo' ('La Belle et le vertige') in 2013. The film was screened in several film festivals. 'Summer Friends' ('L'Amie de l'été') is his first professional short film.
