Miguel was born in 1980. Since 1999, he worked as production and direction's assistant. In 2001, he was first direction's assistant for various production companies of advertising and cinema for the realization of TV spots and videoclips. In 2003, he filmed spots for clients such as Coca-Cola, Trivial, Cuétara or Cruz Roja. He participated in the short films: 'Stress', 'Duel in Carson City', 'Laura contra los hombres gato', 'El contador de historias', 'La última aventura de John Fontaine' and 'Malas noticias'. 'Los zapatos de Muddy Mae' is his first short film in 35mm.
